BiTaksi Privacy Notice for Users

As Bitaksi Mobil Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi ("BiTaksi"), we behave with the utmost sensitivity to process and protect the personal data of our passengers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), secondary regulations and Personal Data Protection Board Decisions. This Privacy Notice ("Privacy Notice") has been prepared to inform you about how we process your personal data as data controller through the BiTaksi mobile application ("Application").

What Personal Data Does BiTaksi Process?

Application usage preferences, application usage habits, advertisement ID (identifiers), discount code/campaign information, request/complaint information communicated verbally and in writing, comments, points, tips and evaluation information given to the driver, points and comments given by drivers to passengers, communication preferences, campaign code and coupon information, content, date and time of correspondence made using the messaging feature within the application

Audio Recordings

Audio recordings of your conversations with the call center

Location Data

Data about your current location, which is processed automatically or can be added manually by you when logging in to the app or if you give your permission through the device settings

Transaction Security Information

Data about the device you use, such as device type, model, operating system and version, IP address, user transaction logs, login method (via Google/Facebook/Apple ID)

Health Information

Disability information (only processed if you fill in this section)

Correspondence with judicial authorities, information on litigation/execution files in case of dispute

What Are Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data?

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,

4. To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

5. To request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,

6. To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,

To request that your requests regarding the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the scope of Article 7 of the KVKK and the correction of your personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing of your personal data be notified to third parties to whom personal data is transferred,

8. Object to the occurrence of a result against you due to the analysis of your personal data exclusively by automated systems,

9. To request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

How Can You Use Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data??

In order  to exercise your rights regulated in Article 11 of the KVKK; please sent your request via following methods:

In accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK, BiTaksi will finalize your requests according to the nature of the request and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. If the transaction requires cost, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be applied. If your request is rejected, the reason(s) for rejection will be communicated to you within 30 (thirty) days at the latest.

Regarding Privacy Notice Updates

This Privacy Notice may be updated in order to adapt to changing conditions and legal regulations. Updates to be made by our Company will be notified via the Application.
